A Review oftheAllegedContradiction of the Hadîths in the Stoning Punishment with the Qur'anic Verses

Abstract

The alleged contradiction of Hadiths with Qur'an is the most difficult topic of Islamic studies. Which is based for denial of Hadîth.

The deniers of Hadîth (منکرین حدیث) deny the authenticity of the hadiths; some of them are rationalist who reject the Hadiths that are against the rationality. Some of them deliberately try to create contradictions in the Qur'an and the Hadiths and deny the hadiths based on it. However, there is no realty in contradiction between the Qur'an and Hadith.

For example, the alleged contradiction between the Hadîth of stoning and the verse of Surah Noor.

In this research I have reviewed the Hadîth and the verse 2 of Surah Noor in the light of the sayings of Islamic Scholars, and proved by arguments that there is no contradiction of the Hadîth with Quran.
