Abstract

Hazrat Mullah Jeewan (Sheikh Ahmad bin Abi Saeed Abdul Razzaq bin Dhasa) Hanafi was born in Amethi (India). He was one of the prominent scholars and intellectuals of the subcontinent. Once he saw the book or listened to the poem, he would memorize it. He was a Hafiz ul Qur'an. He received his early education from Mullah Lutfullah Jahanabadi. Due to his scholarly fame, he was declared a scholar of the state at the court of Mohi-ud-Din Aurangzeb. Aurangzeb read religious books from him. Throughout his life, King Aurangzeb appreciated his knowledge and perfection. He was one of the foremost jurists in the compilation of Fatwa Alamgiri. He spent his whole life in teaching and composing. Noor al-Anwar wrote Sharh Minar in Madinah without the help of any book. Tafseer Ahmadi (Ahkam-ul-Quran) is a compilation of your memorable time. He died in Delhi in 1130 AH / 1718 and was buried in Amethi
