Abstract

Impact of Ahadith-e-Nabavi sayings of the Holy Prophet - Peace be upon him on Arabic language is a milestone in the history of Arabic language and literature. Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. is the best in rhetoric and eloquence. His diction surprised the most wise and eloquent speakers and writers of his time; and also of the time to come. The phrases he used, the words of wisdom and advice he uttered and the sermons he addressed to the people have immensely influenced the minds and hearts of the people. These precious jewels are preserved as literary and linguistic heritage for the entire humanity.  

This research paper is a study of Arabic text of selected Ahadith-e-Nabavi and their lexical meanings and explanations. It clarifies how Ahadith-e-Nabavi have enriched the Arabic language in its vocabulary, grammar, structure, dialects and its aureate ornamented terms.

The research paper is divided into 3 sections:-

Section 1 deals with the rhetoric of Holy Prophet S.A.W..

Section 2 relates to development of vocabulary in Arabic language in the light of the sayings of the Holy Prophet S.A.W.

Section 3 explains the new and innovative terms added in Arabic language through Ahadith of the Holy Prophet S.A.W.
