Abstract

In the era of Sasani religion there was a very strong system of armed forces. It was considered among the best forces of its era as far as number of soldiers, ammunition and armed force are concerned. The Sasanis countered nations and empires because of these characteristics and they stood victorious in many battles.

 In the era of Sasanis the best part of the army would be equipped and covered with all modern armory and would have rides with them in the shape of the best horses and other animals. The army officers would belong to best tribes and clans. During wars, the front infantry would bravely fight and would pave the path for the fellow soldiers to attack enemy with full force. It would depend on strength and courage of the soldiers. The mettle of their armor would shine create noise which would frighten the opponents in the battle field. The soldier of the front infantry would be covered in armor from top to toe and they would carry mettle and iron with them in a way that it would attach the armor strongly with the body. Their faces would also be covered so that hardly any arrow would touch their bodies. Only their eyes would be uncovered and from these holes they not only would see but breathe also.

There would be many segments and sections of the army and there would be a chief of every section. The commonder of the royal force was called Iran Aspahad. Chief of the front infantry was called I Aspahad. Chief of the cargo force was called Iran Ambaraka. In the present article an analysis of the armed and religious system of Sasani religion is offered.
