Legislative Status of Grave’s Construction. A Critical and analytical study

Abstract

Doubts about the construction of shrines of the Islamic scholars of the ummah and the righteous have been spreading for a long time. Legislative Status of Grave’s Construction is one of the most divisive issues in the Islamic world. This issue is heard not only in India and Pakistan but throughout the Islamic world from east to west because it is obvious that wherever there are Muslims, there are graves of their deceased elders. This issue is being considered in every country and region of the Islamic world. This article highlights this issue with references from the majority of Imams and scholars of the four school of thoughts. In the light of these statements of the Imams, this discrepancy should be eliminated so that professional riots do not take place under the guise of construction of shrines.
