Abstract

Woman is  the pillar of society, the center of a family and the beating heart of a nation. Islam has given immense respect and importance to women that one of the great Surahs of Qur'an is called Surah Al-Nisa .another Sura is called Maryam. The dynamic role of women is also seen everywhere in the holy Qur'an. One of the great blessings that Islam has bestowed on humanity is that it has given women its rightful palce. Whether  it's poetry or fiction, the concept of women has changed over time. In urdu afsana, a woman is seen in different roles. In this article the author has critically analyzed female characters of Khyber pukhton khwa fiction writers. Khyber pukhton khwa fiction writers have created a galaxy by combining the rich culture of khyber pukhton khwa with the legendry heritage of  Islam
